Jessica is a good friend of mine. Immediately after telling me she was pregnant last fall, she asked me to photograph the birth. I, of course, said yes! Since then, I had been eagerly awaiting the birth, and I was so excited when I got the text from Jessica saying “it’s time.” Jessica was amazing and her husband, Mark, and her doula, Katy, did a fantastic job of supporting her. Katy was also my doula for Vivienne’s birth, so it was great being able to see her in action from the other side of things.
