Hello I’m Charity and welcome to Charity Stauffer Photography. I’m so happy you stopped by! For the past few years my main photography focus has been my 2 children, however, photography has been a love of mine since elementary school. During college, I took a photography class and loved developing my pictures; this lead me to consider making photography more than a hobby. However, shortly after that class, I felt a strong calling to work with youth and life got busy. Sadly, as a result, photography was one of the things that took a back burner in my life. I was still shooting, but not nearly as much as I had been. With the birth of my son Asher, I began shooting more frequently again, and I realized how much I had missed it. Photography gives me the opportunity to go back and be a part of a moment for much longer than it actually lasts.
In over 10 years of photography, taking pictures for others had never really crossed my mind until I discovered birth photography. It so beautifully combines two things I love that I immediately knew it was something I wanted to do. I want to capture the story and the emotions of welcoming a new life into this world because I believe birth is such an amazing and sacred process and it deserves to be celebrated.
I also blog several times a week on my personal blog A Mom and A Camera, please feel free to take a peek.
